ANNUAL PRIMARY SCHOOL KNOCKOUT CUP

will be on in June 2008.

Referees will not be paid .... you get a day off school in lieu. The canteen will be open at Millers however refs will be provided with lunch and morning tea..pies, sausage rolls and drinks. Referees will receive a letter of thanks to show to their school principals, this will be in effect your leave pass for the day off.

Under 9 - Knock out.

Invitation to all Junior Referees

When - In July 2008

Where - Cromer Park

You will need to be there between 7:15 AM - 7:30AM for allocation to games,you maybe required until 4.30pm meet outside the main canteen/dressing shed.

All games will be played on Cromer 1,2,3 & 4.

You will be PAID on the day - cash in hand.

12 refs are required on a first come first served basis.

NEXT JUNIOR COURSE will run sometime in the NEW YEAR 2008.....

Once again they will follow the same format as this years where

(All Sections Are Compulsory)


In addition juniors will attend a local Premier League fixture to watch an experienced referee in action. Date TBA once draw is released.

Who for: Any New Junior Referee. Must be aged 13 as at 1 April 2008
Especially looking for referees from the Pittwater/Avalon & Mosman Areas.

Cost: $20 (To be paid at venue on Night 1) Cash or Cheque payable to MWFRA.

Where: To be advised

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm SHARP

What to Bring: Pen, Highlighter, and Spare Paper

What You Receive: Law Book, Workbook, Certificate if successful in passing, a wealth of knowledge on the laws of football.

What Is Covered: Fully interactive course with DVD & PowerPoint presentations and Practical Demonstrations.

Nights 1-2: All Laws (1-17) plus additional instructions.
Night 3: Revision & Exam
Night 4: All local MWFA rules and MWFRA procedures.
Night 5: Practical Refereeing - Signals, Assistant Refereeing, Man-Management etc.

Further Information: At the completion of the course successful candidates will be able to purchase uniforms and equipment. More info will be provided at the course on Night 1.
